Welcome to Apt Plants and Bookshop, where the love of a good book meets those who love a cute houseplant.

I created this space to bring together two of my greatest passions: books and plants, with just a dash of chaos. I've taken the traditional "Blind Date With A Book" model and added some leafy pannache in the form of a mystery plant with your book! Many book lovers have a plant lover side to them, too.

Some added features I'm proud to focus on with this endeavour are sourcing all my books from local bookstores, and I also want to emphasize sharing works by LGBTQ+ and BIPOC writers. Most importantly, I want to help put good reads and happy plants in the hands of everyone who gives us a chance.
